This is the second part of the Jayden Baby Set, and boy!  Aren’t the patterns just getting cuter?  I can’t wait to see how the diaper cover turns out!

Abbreviations Used – US Crochet Terms

  • sc – single crochet
  • scblo – single crochet in the back loop only
  • sl st – slip stitch
  • ch – chain
  • hdc – half double crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • sc3tog – insert hook into 1st st, pull up a loop, then pull up a loop in the nest 2 stitches as well. Yarn over and pull through all loops.
  • sc4tog – insert hook into 1st st, pull up a loop, then pull up a loop in the nest 3 stitches as well. Yarn over and pull through all loops.

0-3 Months

start with your contrast color, and a slip knot

rnd 1: ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in next 8 ch, 3 sc in final ch. Working up the other side of the ch, 8 sc, 2 sc in final ch. Sl st to 1st sc (22)

rnd 2: ch 1, 2 hdc in 1st st, hdc in next 8 st, 3 dc in each of the next 3 st, hdc in next 9 st, 2 hdc in last st, sl st to 1st hdc (30)

rnd 3:ch 1, 2 sc in first 2 st, sc in next 10 st, 2 hdc in each of the next 6 st, sc in the next 10 st, 2sc in each of the last 2 st, sl st to 1st sc (40)

rnd 4: ch 1, sc in each st around (40)

Change color to main color, join with a sl st

  1. I have enjoyed looking at your page. It gives me ideas for my grandchildren. I’m blessed to have quite a few new ones in my family. Would love more patterns so I can make items for my grandchildren to cherish.

    1. I usually release new patterns on Wednesdays and Sundays, and I have quite a few baby items in the works!
