Tie off, and switch to black yarn.

Edging

Join with a sl st in any st, ch 1, and sc in each st around. When you reach a ch 2 space, place 3 sc.

Tie off and weave in any ends.

Cat Plushie

Switch to 4.0 mm (G/6) hook to crochet the cat. All pieces of the cat are worked in continuous rounds. Do not join at the end of the round, continue to crochet in a spiral. You can mark the first or last stitch of the round to help keep track of where your round begins.

Assemble the cat as shown. Attach the arms to the bottom of the head, and the ears to the top of the head. Embroider the eyes, nose and fingers. Sew the cat to the center of the blanket. Weave in any ends.
