Dimensions

55” (140 cm) long, 16” (41 cm) wide

Gauge

Not critical for this project, but if your first row is significantly longer or shorter than 55”, adjust your hook size.

Materials

  • 5.5 mm (I/9) hook
  • 540 yards (500 m) of self striping yarn
    • I used Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in Teal Berry (2 balls), and Caron Cakes in Cake Pop (2 balls).   I did have left over yarn with both brands.  With the Caron cakes, I used less then 2 changes on the second ball.  With the Red Heart Boutique, I had approximately 1/2 of the second ball left.
