Minion Ear-Flap Beanie

If you would like to purchase an ad free PDF, you can do so here.

Despicable Me 3 at the end of the month!  Am I the only adult who goes to children’s movies without children?  Either way, super excited to see this one in the next few weeks!

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds. There is no slip stitching to join, or chaining up, just keep working around the circle. Make sure to mark the first or last stitch of each round so you know where to stop.

If you would like to make this hat in a smaller or larger size than listed, my pattern for the Easy Peasy HDC beanie can be found here. Just change colors when appropriate, and the instructions for the eyes and ear-flaps can be added to any hat.

Braid the yarn and tie off the ends.

How to change colors

Finish the round you are currently on, then place 1 sc in the next st, and sl st into the stitch after that. Join your new color in the last hdc with a sc, and continue the pattern as written.

For a one round stripe, once you work around reach your starting sc, sc in that st, sl st to the following st and end your color.
