I followed the pattern for the Floppy Pony Plushie, using blanket yarn instead of the usual worsted weight yarn stated in the pattern.
The pony ends up being 17″ long, and 6″ high. And it is so soft and squishy because of the blanket yarn.

- Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn in Seafoam Print, scraps of Bernat Softee Chunky in Grey and Black
- 8.0 mm (L/11) crochet hook
- any small crochet hook for adding the tail and mane
- stitch marker
- tapestry needle
- poly fill stuffing
The only change I made from the written pattern is for the mane and tail. I cut sections about 14″-16″ of grey chunky yarn, which is slightly longer, due to the larger plushie.
